Blockchain Transaction Tracing
Analyse publicly available blockchain transaction data to understand where cryptocurrency moved after a transaction.
Overview
Public ledgers record movement, not identity. Tracing shows where funds went after the moment of loss, which helps establish whether value remained in identifiable addresses or passed through exchanges and mixing services.
What this involves
- Follow-on analysis of outbound transactions from the relevant addresses
- Identification of exchange or service deposit points, where publicly visible
- Summary of observed movement with transaction references
- Practical explanation of what those observations do and do not mean
What to prepare
- The originating transaction hash
- The asset and network used (for example BTC, ETH, USDT-TRC20)
- Any addresses you already know are involved
Please note
On-chain analysis is an interpretation of public data, not proof of ownership or identity.
